Autumn Flower Seller

We are looking for a cheerful and independent person to join autumn flower sales. Kuka Kesäpiha is a garden industry company whose peak season is summer for selling balcony/garden flowers. During the autumn sale, flowers are sold at 7 sales points across Pirkanmaa, with some shops continuing into autumn. The job in the flower shop is varied and includes customer service and selling flowers, as well as arranging the shop and caring for the flowers. Our sales points are outdoors, so we work outside in all weather conditions until late autumn. We are seeking a salesperson for a fixed-term contract for the period 2 Sept – 17 Oct 2026. Shifts are mainly at the Toijala store (Toijalan S-Marketin parking lot, Valtatie 1, 37800 AkA,) but also at the Ideapark store. There are about 2–5 shifts per week, lasting about 4–8 hours per shift. Shifts run between 9:00–20:00 from Monday to Saturday. Weekly shifts are most common on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. We are looking for a flexible employee whose hours and work locations can vary to fit their life situation. The role could suit a student on a gap year. Shifts are announced in two-week blocks one week before a new cycle starts. After the autumn sale, there may be an opportunity to continue next summer for the flowers season. We expect customer-service orientation and efficiency. You should be able to get along well with people and enjoy learning new things. Because the job is largely autonomous, it is important that you are quick-witted and proactive. No previous work experience is required as training will be provided and we are available at all times. The job requires good Finnish language skills and the ability to work at both the Toijala and Ideapark stores. We offer valuable work experience in customer service and sales. You will receive training for the tasks and you will take responsibility for running the flower shop. We follow the retail collective agreement, and the starting pay is at least €11.16 per hour, or more depending on education and experience.
