Location: Savon Murre Animal Hospital, Kuopio Start: By agreement Role: Veterinary nurse for emergency care Employment: Full-time, permanent We are now looking for a veterinary nurse for our emergency team at Savon Murre Animal Hospital for a full-time, permanent position. Our training and career-path opportunities are excellent. What we expect from you A veterinary nursing qualification and experience in clinic or hospital work. The work requires good social skills with both clients and the work team. Experience in emergency care, anaesthesia skills and English are considered advantages. What is the work like? Nurses play an important role in patient care as the veterinarian’s working partner. Work in the emergency department is varied and brings a sense of achievement every day. Duties may include assisting the veterinarian, taking samples, laboratory work, X-ray and CT imaging, preparing emergency surgery or endoscopy patients for procedures, assisting with operations, monitoring anaesthesia and recovery, assessing urgency, and caring for and monitoring patients.
