Our main operation area includes the specialized care within the HUS consortium and primary health care in the wellbeing areas that belong to HUS. We also provide laboratory and imaging services for the Kymenlaakso and South Karelia wellbeing regions. We operate in eight medical specialties and nationally participate in many demanding investigations as well as teaching and research associated with the university hospital. Diagnostic studies play a central role in confirming illnesses, excluding diseases, and in treatment, follow-up and screening. About 3400 laboratory and imaging professionals work at the Diagnostics Centre across more than 150 locations. We are recruiting two laboratory nurses for permanent positions at the Diagnostics Centre in Espoo and Western Uusimaa health center laboratories, primarily in Nuukselo, Lohja, Leppävaara and Samarian health center laboratories. As a laboratory nurse at the health center laboratory, you will play a key role in pre-analytical work. You will influence high-quality, patient-safe sample collection which is our core aim. Your workday includes customer guidance, blood sampling, gynecological sampling, and taking ECGs.
