Business and Employment Coordinator

We are seeking a full-time Business and Employment Coordinator for a permanent position starting 1 October 2026 or by agreement. The role involves delivering statutory public employment services to companies and employers in collaboration with other service providers, promoting access to skilled labor, and supporting market functioning and business competitiveness. The position is proactive and includes active company visits and service needs assessments in the local area. The coordinator acts as the expert for employer clients in the public employment services, understanding service needs and available services from other providers, and also advises and provides statements for startup grant applications. The role requires strong knowledge of the local/regional business life, independence in organizing work, and time management. Negotiation, communication and collaboration skills, along with presentation abilities and networking, are essential. The employer relationship emphasizes a service-oriented approach and the ability to identify and advance service orders. Experience in startup entrepreneur services and information/communication skills are valued. Driving a personal car is an advantage as visits occur across the area. A suitable higher education degree is required, along with fluent Finnish (speaking and writing). English and Swedish are considered an asset. The selected candidate must present a satisfactory medical certificate. The city of Raisio is a non-smoking workplace.
