We are seeking a lively and proactive School Physical Education Instructor / Swimming Education Coordinator for Lapunmäen Comprehensive School in Konnevesi for a fixed-term contract from 7 September 2026 to 30 June 2027. The job is full-time (38.25 hours/week). The candidate must have relevant physical education training or extensive coaching experience and a SUH-approved swimming teacher qualification. The duties include coordinating swimming lessons for kindergarten and primary education and overseeing swimming lessons at nearby municipal pools or local therapy pool, performing school physical education instructor tasks as part of the school day, and organizing physical activity events and supervising clubs within and near the school day. Working days are typically between 08:00–16:00 with exact times negotiable. The instructor also offers students low-threshold physical activity guidance during or around the school day. The main aim is to inspire, support, and guide as many 1st–9th grade pupils toward more active and healthier everyday life. Salary is according to KVTES and local pay scale (approx. €2700/month). The selected candidate must provide a valid medical certificate and an accepted criminal background check under Act 504/2002 for working with children within 30 days of notification of the decision.
