Machinery Assembler

We are seeking machine assemblers for a client in shipbuilding. The role involves assembling and installing machinery on ships across different areas, collaborating with partners during commissioning on various ship projects, and ensuring safety within your responsibility area. Work is primarily on land (onshore), with employer located in the Turku/Uusikaupunki/Rauma region and other Satakunta sites. Candidates should be prepared for overtime and weekend work, with potential to move to the client’s sites later. Training backgrounds may include pipefitter, machine assembler, watchman of machinery, machine operator or sheet metal welder. Key strengths include willingness to take on new challenges, teamwork, initiative and organizational ability. Prior experience in marine machinery installation is an advantage but not mandatory if you have other installation experience. Requirements include several years of similar work, a valid occupational safety card, good Finnish language skills (work leadership language is Finnish), high work ethic, and good interpersonal skills.
