Mechanical Designer

A role at AFRY in Västerås as a Mechanical Designer participating in the full product development cycle. You will work on projects from concept to completion, sometimes on-site at the client and other times in AFRY’s own facilities. You will join the Västerås office and/or client locations, contributing to development of future products and solutions for Swedish industry. Typical tasks include mechanical design and optimization, creating and validating CAD models, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The position requires an engineering degree in mechanics, at least five years of experience in product development or mechanical design, strong CAD skills (Siemens NX, SolidWorks or Creo), PLM experience, and fluency in Swedish and English. A B driving license is required. Responsibilities include participating in project development from idea to production, supporting clients with technical expertise, and adapting to varying assignments across different customer sites.
