Maintenance Technician

Located at our Avery Dennison Smartrac Querétaro plant and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The selected candidate will have professional development as part of a new team, in a growing industry. The objective of the Facilities and Maintenance team is, through modern maintenance systems, to maintain the continuity of plant operations and continuously improve equipment availability/reliability to manufacture quality products safely and profitably. This team will also be responsible for the planning and execution of CAPEX, including an ambitious Master Plan for capacity increase. Key Responsibilities: * Maintains knowledge and good understanding of the plant/equipment and its conditions. * Responsible for continuous maintenance and troubleshooting, based on work orders. * Monitor the plant/equipment to ensure optimal configuration, work with Quality to minimize defects and rework. * Monitor the plant/equipment to ensure optimal operation, work with Production to minimize waste and unplanned downtime. * Monitor the plant/equipment to ensure safe operation, work with EHS to mitigate risks and prevent accidents. * Develop and implement improvements to minimize downtime for line change and cleaning. * Support the installation and commissioning of plants/equipment. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. * +3 years of experience in maintenance, engineering or technical field, preferably in the Flexographic Industry. * Intermediate English * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
