Food Production Worker

We are seeking workers for temporary shifts in a food industry company. Oy Lunden Ab is a family-run company whose well-known brands include Jalostaja, Auran, Savuhovi, Chef Lundén, Dennis and Kuivalihakundi. Our company produces a variety of fresh and industrial foods. In addition to our own brands, our production also handles many supermarket brands and we act as a subcontractor for major food companies. Primary markets are Finland and the Baltic states. Oy Lunden Ab employs about 650 people with a pro forma turnover of about 125 million euros. Locations are Turku, Tallinn, Kerava and Tuusula. The job involves food production, packaging and product inspection in a cool production environment around +6°C. Work is arranged on weekdays in two shifts, alternating weekly: morning shift 6:00–14:00 and evening shift 14:00–22:00, with possible mid-shifts. The workplace has good public transport access. This is a temporary/occasional job suitable for students with flexible study schedules; long-term availability is valued. Required are initiative, willingness to learn, a valid hygieniapassi and salmonella certificate before starting, being of legal age, and ability to work in Finnish. Experience in food production is a plus, and studies in food industry are welcome. Training will be thorough. You will fit in best if you are handy, precise, fast and proactive, with a good attitude, flexible hours and a desire to develop in the field. Pay follows the Food Industry Collective Agreement: 11.92–14.35 EUR per hour (evening supplement 2.15 EUR/hour).
