Job Details
Responsibilities
- Assist in creation and management of sequence of events documentation including output standards for wage performance pay plans, product costing, and capacity planning
- Work with electronic tools to perform engineering functions including methods change tracking and reports
- Develop plans of limited scope to support lean manufacturing
- Participate in implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or any related technical degree
- Ability to work 16-20 hours during the academic year
- Ability to work 30-40 hours during the summer
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. local accredited college/university
- Graduation date of May 2028 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
- Must be able to commute to the work location in Waterloo, Iowa, on a daily basis year-round
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel)
- Demonstrated good written and verbal (English) communication skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional groups and a team environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
