About the role

We are looking for a Mechanics Supervisor to join our mechanical Maintenance department. You will supervise a team of mechanics and machinists, organize workshop activities, plan inspections and repairs, and drive continuous improvement. Requirements include relevant technical education in mechanics or machine construction, experience in industrial maintenance, strong leadership, and English communication. We offer a challenging role with opportunities for development and a salary of 3800–4800€ (gross) with bonus according to the system. Location Hämeenlinna, Finland. Deadline 6.9.2026.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the work of the mechanical team by assigning tasks, managing absences, and monitoring task execution and team efficiency
  • Organize and oversee workshop activities, including planning and execution of inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, initiate and implement improvement actions and continuous improvement projects
  • Collaborate with other departments on downtime planning, implementation of new technical solutions, and process optimization
  • Develop and maintain a constant safety environment and provide necessary training updates while striving for zero incidents

Requirements

  • Relevant technical education in mechanics or machine construction
  • Experience from industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, or equipment servicing
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
