In this role, you’ll manage and optimize the company’s U.S. tax responsibilities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. You’ll oversee all tax activities, support key business decisions, and maintain full regulatory adherence. A valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential is required to represent the company before the IRS. A few examples of your responsibilities Oversee U.S. federal, state, and local tax compliance and planning, including corporate income, franchise, sales and use, and other applicable taxes. Calculate tax liabilities, prepare and file U.S. tax returns, and manage tax matters related to equity plans, employees, and contractor arrangements. Ensure the proper U.S. tax treatment of employee benefits, compensation, and welfare programs. Conduct U.S. tax due diligence for acquisitions and support the tax-efficient structuring and integration of transactions. Monitor changes in U.S. federal, state, and local tax laws, identify tax-saving opportunities such as R&D credits, and liaise with the IRS, state tax authorities, and external advisors.
