Task summary: We are seeking a full-time healthcare assistant for a permanent position in Raisio to join the mental health and substance misuse rehabilitation team at the Raisio mental health and addiction unit. The team includes two healthcare assistants, a nurse, and an occupational therapist, along with other professionals such as nurses, psychologists, a psychiatrist, a physician specialized in addiction medicine, an assistant head nurse and a western-area head nurse that acts as your immediate supervisor. Your role involves rehabilitative nursing within mental health and addiction care, medication administration, and leading groups. The work includes independent duties at clinics and home visits, but you will operate as part of a multidisciplinary team. Patients are referred to rehabilitative care primarily through professionals in mental health and addiction services. Our activities are guided by a recovery-oriented framework. The work is daytime, weekdays. Primary workplace is Raisio. A leasing car is provided for home visits, so you do not need your own car. A six-month probationary period applies.
