Dairy Plant Worker

Valio is a Finnish dairy and food company, and Riihimäki factory is seeking two permanent and two fixed-term dairy plant workers to join the packaging tasks of the production process. The fixed-term contracts run until 31 December 2026. The roles start in September or as agreed. Pay is determined according to the SEL collective agreement. The job mainly involves operating and handling packaging machines, quality control and reporting duties, and cleaning tasks. Successful candidates should have good communication skills, flexibility, willingness to learn and adapt, the ability to work independently and in a team, initiative, responsibility, IT skills, and strong commitment to work and food safety. Finnish language proficiency is required in spoken and written form. Desired pluses include basic dairy or food industry education and/or experience in industrial tasks, understanding of mechanical equipment operation, and hygiene know-how.
