Responsibilities
- Understand the business domain to effectively understand and build data flows and models supporting data needs and requirements
- End-to-end ownership of the work from requirement to design, from development to test and release readiness
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in and outside of the team
- Set a high standard for what you deliver, prioritizing robustness, stability and maintainability
- Stay current with AI assisted development and adopt AI to increase efficiency, maintainability, and reliability
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, information technology, data engineering or relevant technical field
- Strong experience in data engineering and data warehousing, building large-scale data solutions
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Experience with Oracle databases and DataStage ETL
- Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow)
- Proficient in data modelling
- Experience with enterprise API integration
- Solid engineering practices (git, CI/CD, automated testing)
- A growth mindset and willingness to learn
