The role includes teaching kantele, musicianship, and group lessons in folk music. The position also involves development work. You will join a development team that includes Kuhmo Music Institute, Käpylä Music Institute, Pirkanmaa Music Institute, and the Sibelius Academy’s Folk Music and Global Music departments. We provide comprehensive orientation for this inspiring role. Assistance with housing is available if needed. We are flexible regarding our teaching staff’s artistic projects. Kuhmo Music Institute offers basic art education in music and dance. Teaching is organized in Kuhmo and Sotkamo. The available substitute position for a music kindergarten teacher is located in Kuhmo and Sotkamo. Qualifications are based on the decree on the qualifications of education personnel (no 986/1998). Salary and teaching duties are determined according to OVTES. The position is filled on a two-month trial period. Applications are submitted via Kuntarekry.
