Child Guardian, family law services, primary location Ilmajoki. Start date September 1, 2026, or by agreement. The work of a child guardian is versatile, involving work with separated families and tasks related to parenthood. Our team includes child guardians, a supervising social worker, an office secretary, a service coordinator, and a person working with shared parenting. Good proficiency in the Finnish language is required for the performance of the duties. You will receive an orientation and support from colleagues. The child guardian's work includes, among other things, drafting agreements on maintenance, support, and visitation matters, clarifying parenthood, conducting situational assessments, and mediating family matters. Work is performed independently, collaboratively, and within networks. Flexible working hours and the possibility of partial remote work are available. We expect you to have the ability to operate in multidisciplinary networks and changing situations, an independent, planned, and goal-oriented approach to work, and good interaction, cooperation, and negotiation skills. Eligibility requirements include the qualification mentioned in the Act on Social Care Professionals (817/2015 Section 7) and the eligibility for a child guardian as defined in the Social Care Act (1301/2014 Section 27a), a social worker or another suitable higher education degree. The terms of employment and remuneration are determined in accordance with the current social and health care (sote) agreement; the position-specific salary at the start of employment is 4,235.27 €/month. A probationary period applies to the employment. A criminal record extract in accordance with the law (504/2002) must be presented before assuming the position. HYVAEP is a nicotine-free workplace.
