Hospital Cleaner

We are seeking a hospital cleaner to support patients’ wellbeing and help ensure a smooth hospital routine at Vaasa Central Hospital, unit H6 Internal Medicine and Neurology. The position is temporary, from 01 September 2026 to 25 January 2027, full-time (38.25 hours per week). The cleaner will perform cleaning maintenance, food service cleaning, laundry-related cleaning, and bed cleaning tasks, handling of medical aids and care equipment cleaning, and basic cleaning. The selected candidate is expected to start as soon as possible. We value motivated interest in the cleaning field and a positive, proactive work attitude, willingness to learn new things, and ability to adapt to changing work situations. Requirements include work experience or training in the cleaning services sector and good Finnish language skills. The employee will have vaccination coverage in line with the Infectious Diseases Act 48§. The role-specific salary is 2169.29 €/month, plus possible experience-based increases (5 years = 5%, 10 years = 10%).
