About the role
We are seeking a tax expert to ensure compliance with all fiscal obligations in Colombia. The role involves leading local tax declarations, coordinating DIAN submissions, collaborating on US GAAP tax packages, managing transfer pricing data, representing the company in audits, and reconciling IFRS and fiscal profits.
Job Details
Responsibilities
- Lead local tax declarations (Income Tax, VAT, Withholding, ICA) in Medellín and other cities
- Coordinate and ensure successful submission of DIAN and district magnetic media
- Collaborate on quarterly and annual US GAAP tax packages
- Manage transfer pricing data collection with external consultants
- Represent the company in audits with DIAN, UGPP, and external auditors
- Perform detailed reconciliation between IFRS accounting profit and fiscal profit
Requirements
- Professional in Public Accounting with valid professional license
- Specialization in Taxes (completed or in progress)
- 3-5 years experience in multinational or Big 4 tax departments
- Intermediate-Advanced English (B2)
- Updated Colombian Tax Statute
- IFRS/NIIF knowledge
- Desirable US GAAP knowledge
- Proficiency in Muisca platform and DIAN prevalidators
- Advanced SAP or Oracle ERP skills
- Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, Power Query, macros)
