IT Specialist

Patria is an international defence industry and technology company with over 100 years of experience. We are looking for an IT Specialist to strengthen our infrastructure team at our Espoo site. The role focuses on Windows workstation maintenance and management, software deployment, security updates, and user support in a security-critical environment. You will be responsible for deploying and maintaining workstations, lifecycle management, software distribution, and security patch management. You will leverage SCCM/MECM and participate in the maintenance of deployment automation and software packaging. You will also provide end-user technical support and, when needed, handle more challenging issue resolution. You will document your work meticulously and contribute to developing operating procedures in cooperation with other IT specialists and service providers. Some domestic travel may be required. You will join an experienced and versatile team that values a good work ethic, collaboration, and a willingness to develop your own skills. You should have several years of IT experience with practical knowledge of Windows workstations, as well as experience or basic knowledge of SCCM/MECM, software and patch management, and workstation security. PowerShell basics and a desire to continue learning will help you succeed. Good problem-solving skills, customer focus, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team are essential. You should be able to document your work clearly and systematically and be fluent in Finnish; you should also be able to understand IT-English terminology. We look for someone who is eager to learn, energetic, and responsible with an interest in technical work.
