Pneumatics Industry Director

We are seeking a new Pneumatics Industry Director for AVS-Yhtiöt Oy, fixed-term? No – this is a permanent position at our Espoo headquarters. The Industry Director will oversee AVS's largest pneumatic customer relationships and key vendors, and manage the pneumatic product group which includes all pneumatic components, such as cylinders, valves, maintenance devices, fittings and tubes. The role includes responsibility for the product range including proportional and servo technology and electrical motion. The Industry Director will act as a supervisor to about eight regional sales managers and will distribute tasks within the team and drive the performance development. They will also be a member of AVS’s management team. The position requires technical or commercial education (e.g. DI or KTM), experience in technical sales and knowledge of pneumatics and its customer base, leadership ability to motivate and inspire the team, innovation and planning mindset, and willingness to travel to customers and suppliers abroad.
