Are you interested in working on diverse fiber network construction and maintenance tasks across the Uusimaa region? Do you have experience with fiber optic welding, fault finding, and independent fieldwork? We are seeking an experienced telecommunications installer for a permanent, long‑term position in Uusimaa. You will be responsible for building, installing and maintaining fiber optic cables and networks in outdoor environments and in residential buildings. Your duties include fiber welding, splicing, overhead and junction work, equipment installation, and locating and repairing faults. Prior experience with cable TV networks is a plus. The job often involves fieldwork and site work in infrastructure projects. Success in the role requires initiative, problem-solving skills, and willingness to work in varying conditions. We especially value someone who has experience with operator networks, interpreting diagrams, and using various measurement devices for fiber testing and fault diagnosis. The role involves travel mainly within the Helsinki region by company vehicle, with some travel and overtime across Finland. A security background check will be performed, so a clean record is required. You will fit in if you have: electricity or telecommunications installer training; experience building and welding fiber networks; ability to read drawings and act on them; valid work safety, first aid/emergency and road work cards; B driving license; good Finnish language skills (English a plus); willingness to overtime and travel; a proactive attitude and motivation to perform high-quality, productive work. We offer: pay according to or better than the collective agreement, paid on time; hourly wage in the range 2300–3500 EUR/month depending on skills and experience; good work clothes and equipment; a friendly and relaxed team; a dedicated Worker contact person who is accessible for you.
