The role is to be the first Developer Advocate for Synthesia, acting as the face and voice of the API to developers, creating hands-on content, demos, tutorials, and engaging with developer communities through conferences, livestreams, webinars, and direct interactions. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Developer Support to drive developer adoption. Responsibilities include writing blog posts, tutorials, sample apps, live streams, attending conferences and meetups, building relationships with developers and bloggers, travel as needed, and feeding feedback to product teams. You’ll also build the flywheel by nurturing channels, measuring engagement, and guiding the developer experience roadmap. The ideal candidate has hands-on coding experience, strong communication skills across formats, comfort with travel, a track record of sustained content creation, and autonomy in a fast-moving function.
