Driving Instructor

We are seeking a driving instructor for CAP Driving School Tornio for an indefinite-term contract. The role is based at the Tornio teaching site. You can be an experienced instructor or an instructor trainee who has completed 2.1 of the qualification and has some independent teaching experience. We will tailor the position to your skills, experience, and regional preferences. You will work as part of a small team, with collaboration between the Tornio and Kemi sites and instructors taking turns during holidays. The Tornio site has one driving instructor; the role combines independent work with guiding students individually and cooperating with nearby instructors. Working hours are weekdays between 8:00 and 18:00. You will primarily work at the Tornio site, with duties rotating to include Kemi as needed. Your responsibilities include delivering high-quality driver education together with the team and supporting students through the driving-license path. Specifically: you will teach B-category driving students; plan and conduct driving instruction safely and purposefully; guide students considering their individual needs; manage electronic student records and course-related documentation; utilise digital teaching and work tools; collaborate with other staff at the site; participate in developing teaching and customer experience.
