We are looking for a Checkout, Customer Service, and Café Supervisor for a permanent position at our new department store in Kokkola. Working at the Biltema Kokkola department store as the Checkout, Customer Service, and Café Supervisor, you will be responsible for the operation of the store's checkouts and customer service point, checkout routines, and the store's cash management. Additionally, you will be responsible for the correct handling of complaints and returns, as well as the onboarding of new employees. Your duties regarding café operations include overall responsibility for the operation of the Biltema Café, ensuring the smooth running of its daily activities, and the onboarding, training, and skill assurance of the café staff. You will be part of the store's management team and will, in turn, be responsible for the operation of the entire department store, moving naturally within the customer interface. We expect from you: - Commercial education and/or work experience from retail or grocery trade. - Good interpersonal skills and interest in and/or experience with supervisory duties. - Interest and experience in positions of responsibility are considered an advantage. - Ability to take responsibility and work independently. - A positive can-do attitude and flexibility. - Readiness to work all store shifts, including morning, evening, and weekend shifts. - In addition to Finnish, proficiency in English and Swedish is considered an advantage. Start date as agreed. Salary as agreed, and the starting salary is at least €2,500/month. The final salary is determined based on your education, previous work experience, and skills. Evening and weekend bonuses according to the retail collective agreement are paid based on hours worked. Are you interested?
