We are seeking a Building Automation Project Manager for a permanent position in Helsinki. Your tasks include taking responsibility for programming and commissioning building automation systems, monitoring project progress, and collaborating closely with automation technicians and the project manager to ensure smooth progress and successful commissioning. You will also coordinate with other site actors, such as electrical, piping, and ventilation contractors. The role is typically Monday to Friday, 7:00–15:00. Projects cover a range of new builds and refurbishments, including data centers, commercial properties, schools, and multi-family residential buildings. The sites are mainly in the Helsinki region, with possible travel within Finland. We value proactive, collaborative work style and Finnish language proficiency, with English also regarded positively. Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for programming and commissioning building automation systems
- Collaborate with automation technicians and project manager to ensure smooth project progression and successful commissioning
- Coordinate with other site contractors (electrical, plumbing, ventilation)
- Work mostly weekdays 7:00–15:00
- Operate in diverse new build and renovation projects including data centers, commercial properties, schools, and residential buildings; primarily in the Helsinki region with potential travel within Finland
Requirements
- Technical education such as electrical or automation installer qualification or electrical or automation engineering studies
- Some experience in building automation programming
- Good Finnish language skills; good English beneficial
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; proactive, organized work style
- Driver's license and ability to use own car for work
