About the role

As a key member of Agoda’s Global Payroll team based in Bangkok, you will play a vital role in shaping a world-class global payroll process that supports our employees across the globe. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Partner will oversee the timely and accurate processing of assigned international payroll transactions, ensuring strict compliance with local laws and regulations.

Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Oversee monthly payroll activities for assigned countries
  • Coordinate with external payroll vendors for timely payments and tax filings
  • Manage payroll vendors to ensure contract and SLA compliance
  • Handle payroll inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Support ad-hoc projects and system testing
  • Lead payroll migration and system upgrades; harmonize processes with minimal disruption
  • Collaborate with internal People teams and external partners for new payroll systems/countries
  • Support audits
  • Drive process improvement initiatives for designated countries

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • At least 2 years of People Operations or end-to-end Payroll experience in an international fast-paced organization
  • Experience in APAC payroll
  • Payroll migration and integration projects experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical, articulation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record in process improvement and/or automation implementations
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Team player in fast-paced multicultural environment
  • Resilience to work under deadlines
