Warehouse Worker

We are seeking a Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator for Uudenkaupungin Työvene Oy's Olkiluoto dry dock to strengthen our team. You will be part of a unique and meaningful work where we build future vessels for Finland and Europe. If you are responsible, precise and have experience in warehousing and forklift operation, you may be the person we are looking for in our dynamic and growing workplace! Responsibilities include receiving and shipping: receiving, inspecting, storing incoming goods, and packing and loading outgoing shipments. Internal logistics: ensure efficient and safe transfer of materials at the dock yard and timely deliveries of components needed by production. Forklift operation: operate counterbalanced and pallet trucks safely and professionally. Warehouse management: participate in keeping the warehouse tidy, conducting inventories and ensuring correct stock levels. Collaboration: work closely with production to ensure smooth material flow. Safety and quality: always comply with the dock's safety instructions and quality requirements. We look for: prior warehouse/logistics experience in an industrial environment; valid forklift license and experience with various forklifts, especially counterbalanced forklifts; accuracy, independence and decision-making ability; flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with changing schedules; teamwork and good communication skills; Finnish language proficiency for safety and communication; basic IT skills (e.g. warehous e management systems) are a plus; willingness to undergo security clearance if required.
