Read more: metsagroup.com/metsaforall. We are seeking a Forestry Specialist for the Oulu procurement district (Reisjärvi-Lestijärvi area). Your workplace will be Kannus or Haapajärvi local office, and you will be a key part of the about 30 professionals in the Oulu district. You will report to the district manager. As a Forestry Specialist you will be in contact with forest owners and plan their silvicultural operations and harvests with regard to biodiversity and safety. You will advise forest owners on all matters related to forest estate care. What we expect from you? We expect suitable forestry education, good communication skills, willingness for active contact with forest owners and the ability to work independently and with results. You will need to be able to make decisions in your work. We value industry expertise and previous experience in similar roles is a plus. A good command of Finnish in spoken and written form is required. A valid driving license is mandatory for the role.
