Help build engaging, fun, and innovative after-school activities for children. You are an enthusiastic team player who can juggle many strings at once. Nano, a company for children and youth activities, has operated for 15 years as a service provider to the cities of Helsinki and Vantaa. Nano runs afternoon clubs for 7–8-year-old children and has groups across fourteen schools. We are seeking an after-school program supervisor for our Puistolan elementary school group in Helsinki. Essential skills include excellent interpersonal communication, good organizational ability, and interest in working with children. Our goal is that children enjoy our clubs, receive meaningful activities, and perceive our supervisors as safe and capable adults. Afternoon club operates as a group activity, emphasizing group leadership skills. Applicants should be able to be funny and motivating, yet firm and set boundaries as an adult. The day includes outdoor time, snacks, homework, and rotating hobby activities. Each day we organize hobby activities for the children. In our club, activities have included sports in various forms, dancing, movement games, crafts, and art; the aim is to assemble a hobby program with as much variety as possible. Nano pursues goal-oriented and planned operation in its clubs, and supervisors contribute to the annual program under the direction of a lead supervisor.
