Project Manager is needed for a large, well-known Facilities Management organisation based in Birmingham, who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Project Manager with in-depth knowledge of asset management, lifecycle plans and variation projects across education sites. The successful candidate will have a time-served technical background in electrical, mechanical or building services and ideally hold an HNC or equivalent engineering qualification, alongside NEBOSH or IOSH and SMSTS. Strong knowledge of M&E systems, building fabric, and budgetary control. This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check therefore ability to pass is essential. Responsibilities
- Covering the Birmingham area, providing technical & delivery lead around asset management and lifecycle projects
- Lead on technical disciplines related to Building infrastructure, Mechanical & Electrical systems
- Engage with internal teams and FM suppliers to identify assets needing replacement within 5-year lifecycle
- Provide technical support on lifecycle works and compliance with regulations and standards
- Collaborate with Commercial or Central Lifecycle Teams and maintain day-to-day operations
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of asset management, lifecycle plans and variation projects
- Time-served technical background in electrical, mechanical or building services
- HNC or equivalent engineering qualification (desirable)
- NEBOSH or IOSH and SMSTS (desirable)
- Knowledge of M&E systems and budgetary control
