Job Description You will be responsible for the development of ground-lease and KVR (land-use and building right) projects for residential and care facilities on current and new plots in the Turku economic area. Your daily work includes land acquisition and close cooperation with care sector clients and operators, which requires strong market knowledge and rapid response to customer needs. Success in this role requires an active, planned, and solution-oriented approach, as well as the ability to drive matters forward independently. To ensure the quality and profitability of projects, you will be supported by the company's internal experts. Tasks As a Project Development Manager, you will manage the entire process from plot searching and zoning to project launch, with a particular focus on residential construction. Your tasks include: - Searching for project opportunities in accordance with the strategy and contacting landowners - Preparing and guiding the initial profitability calculations for projects - Commenting on plans and residential layouts from a market-driven perspective - Guiding the reference design of zoning projects and ordering necessary reports - Conducting negotiations and preparing preliminary agreements and real estate sales - Working closely with authorities on zoning matters - Networking actively and maintaining stakeholder relations in the Turku region We are looking for - A university degree (e.g., construction engineer, builder, or architect) - Technical understanding of construction and cost impacts - Excellent local knowledge of the Turku region and established networks - Fluent Finnish language skills We value it if you have - Good English or Swedish language skills - Experience in similar roles or project management - Expertise in land acquisition or zoning processes Our recruitment process Academic Work is handling this search on behalf of its client, who requests that all questions regarding the position be directed to Academic Work.
