STORE MANAGER TRAINEE WORK AT JYSK - During the first year, you learn the work in different JYSK stores and take on projects related to the store manager role based on your abilities. - Goals guide your work: everyone has a clear direction and a desire to exceed expectations. - Varied workdays consist of sales, team leadership, warehouse work, customer service, and cashier work. - As your expertise grows, you take on more supervisory and commercial leadership tasks. You work closely with a store manager and have your own mentor. - Weekly tasks include active feedback to the team to help them succeed. - You participate in JYSK's own store manager trainee training program for about a year, with week-long sessions at the Vantaa headquarters (5 sessions total). - The job requires good basic fitness, but you get the best tools and team support. - Diversity – store, warehouse, campaigns... boredom is not in our vocabulary. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU - Motivation to work as a supervisor and lead a team by example to achieve results. - Strength in training, onboarding, and active feedback. - Willingness to travel and work in different JYSK stores during the first year. - Ambition to become a store manager. Flexibility is required as the opening may not be in your hometown; we support relocation costs. - Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment. - Sales-minded, valuing results and exceeding targets. - Tolerance for unfinished tasks due to high workload. - Ability to recover quickly from failures and see new things as interesting challenges. - Flexibility regarding tasks, hours, and shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends). - Respectful colleague, result-driven merchant, and committed to agreed goals.
