Unit Manager, Electrical and Energy Efficiency Projects

Aro Systems’ service business has been growing exceptionally well in Helsinki, and we now want to take the growth of our electrical and energy-efficiency projects to the next level. We are looking for a Unit Manager for electricity projects in Helsinki to join our excellent team. You will take responsibility for the results, growth and development of electrical and energy-efficiency projects and lead a skilled project team towards shared goals. Job description As Unit Manager, you will be responsible for the successful management of electrical and energy-efficiency projects and will be a key member of the service business leadership team. You will identify new business opportunities, develop the competitiveness of the projects and ensure that they are delivered efficiently, with high quality and in line with the set objectives. In sales, you will actively participate in tender calculations and the commercial preparation of projects. You will also actively build new customer relationships and identify the needs of current customers. In project management, your task is to ensure your team’s success in delivering projects. You will ensure that your unit’s procurement, finances and resources are well organised. Your responsibilities include: - Responsibility for the results, growth, profitability and resources of electrical and energy-efficiency projects - Strengthening team spirit and a can-do attitude as part of your supervisory work - Cost and tender calculations in accordance with the company’s operating model - Developing and ensuring occupational safety - Close cooperation with the subcontractor and supplier network What we expect from you You have the drive to lead, develop and learn new things. We value experience in project business and growing it, but believe that your attitude towards the role will determine your success. You are willing to express your opinion and courageously address matters that need development. You have good interpersonal and teamwork skills and a customer-oriented approach. Occupational safety is also of utmost importance to you, and you actively contribute to its development. An electrical engineering degree is an advantage, but you can also demonstrate your competence through experience. We also value S1 or S2 electrical qualification.
