The City of Joensuu invites applications for a Park Worker to join the parks maintenance unit. The duties are varied and include caring for green areas and housekeeping tasks, with use of various work machines. A background in horticulture or greenery work is an asset, and other tasks within the urban engineering division may be assigned. A category B driving license is required. We value a proactive attitude, the ability to work independently, and good teamwork. The position follows the Municipal Technical Personnel collective agreement. The job-specific salary is 2,357.50 €/month (from 1 August 2026 a general raise of 2.27%). The employment is permanent with a start no later than 1 October 2026 or by agreement. A six-month probationary period applies. Education and work certificates must be presented at possible interviews. Our workplaces are smoke-free. The application period ends 30 August 2026 at 15:00.
