Security Guard

We are recruiting at Olkiluoto in Eurajoki for security personnel in accordance with nuclear energy act. Roles are full-time and permanent. A security officer is a person trained to safeguard the use of nuclear energy and to exercise the special powers defined in the act. The security officer ensures safe movement of people and goods in the power plant, prevents incidents, and deters illicit activity. Responsibilities include security inspections, area and access control, and maintenance and alarm duties. Salary for the security officer role is set at TES level 4A for the guarding sector plus job-specific allowances. Requirements include at least 20 years of age, a valid guard card, clean criminal background, prior security work experience, approved use-of-force training, at least a B-class driving license, fluent Finnish, and sufficient English. Prior experience with nuclear energy-law-based guard duties is a plus. As part of the recruitment process, Firefit fitness testing will be conducted according to the defined level. Successful candidates will undergo a background check with consent and a basic security clearance; passing health check including substance testing is required before employment.
