Procurement Specialist

Join us! We are looking for two (2) procurement specialists for permanent employment in procurement services. As a procurement specialist, you will be involved in the diverse procurements of Urban Transport and enable the sustainable movement of city dwellers now and in the future. Procurement Services is centrally responsible for the commercial implementation of all procurements of Urban Transport, and every year we tender interesting and diverse procurements from consultancy work to performing services and from contracts to new production equipment. As a procurement specialist, you are responsible for the high-quality and responsible implementation of the tenders assigned to you in all stages of the procurement process so that internal customers receive products, services and contracts that meet their needs within the agreed schedule. In tenders, you work closely with our technical experts and support internal customers of the businesses and other procurement experts. One of the procurement specialists will operate in ICT procurements. What do we expect from you? We expect that you have already gained experience in the duties of a procurement specialist, especially in public procurements. We require a suitable degree of at least lower higher education level as well as excellent Finnish language skills and, if necessary, you use English in negotiations. In succeeding in the work, it is beneficial if you already have experience in using an electronic tendering system and procurements in special fields. From the ICT procurement specialist, we also hope for experience in ICT procurements. You are a collaborative team player and an energetic driver of things forward, actively participating in tenders and contract processes in cooperation with our stakeholders. You are able to handle several tenders and/or contract negotiations simultaneously, without forgetting development work.
