We are currently seeking Service Worker substitutes in the Varsinais-Suomi region. As a Service Worker you are responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of the kindergarten kitchen and cleanliness, including preparing or presenting breakfast, heating lunch, plating snacks, and dishwashing. You are also responsible for following the kindergarten’s self‑monitoring plan and for daily cleaning. The Service Worker plays a crucial role in making every day good. If you share this mindset and approach your work with heart, this position will suit you. The role is independent by nature. We expect a positive, proactive and developing attitude. We encourage ideas from everyone. You should have good interpersonal skills and a genuine ability to connect with children. A useful qualification is a basic Food Service qualification or a basic Cleaning qualification or equivalent. We require: willingness to learn, at least satisfactory Finnish language skills, knowledge of special diets, a hygiene pass, ability to perform physical work, ability to read work instructions and create a daily routine, and the candidate must present a police background check and salmonella certificate before employment. We offer: hourly wages 12.89–14.18 €/h (PK-seutu) or 12.79–14.06 €/h (Other Finland) depending on experience, and a workplace community committed to the child’s best.
