You'll work with real-time payment data, build smarter fraud detection strategies, and have the opportunity to influence how fraud prevention evolves across our acquiring business. This isn't a role where you'll simply review alerts. You'll own fraud initiatives, identify emerging attack patterns, optimize detection logic, and work closely with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance to build scalable solutions that support business growth. If you're passionate about payments, analytics, and solving complex fraud challenges, you'll have the autonomy and impact to make a real difference. Responsibilities: Monitor real-time payment transactions to identify, investigate, and prevent suspicious or fraudulent activity. Manage and optimize the fraud prevention system, including rule configuration, alert monitoring, dashboard analysis, and threshold tuning to improve detection accuracy. Identify emerging fraud trends and attack patterns, such as card testing, account takeover (ATO), merchant abuse, and other evolving fraud schemes. Develop and implement new fraud prevention strategies and controls to mitigate emerging risks. Perform in-depth data analysis using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data modeling) to identify trends, generate insights, and support fraud investigations. Analyze complex datasets from multiple sources to build a comprehensive risk assessment and support data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Risk, Compliance, Product, and Engineering, to continuously improve fraud detection capabilities and operational processes. Prepare reports and provide actionable recommendations based on fraud trends, operational metrics, and risk analysis. Requirements: Experience in fraud monitoring within a fintech, payment service provider (PSP), bank, acquirer, or card payments environment. Hands-on experience working with fraud management platforms, including rule configuration, alert investigation, and fraud optimization. Strong understanding of payment fraud typologies, including card testing, account takeover (ATO), merchant fraud, and emerging fraud trends. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns, investigate anomalies, and make data-driven decisions. Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis); SQL or BI tools are a strong advantage. Curiosity, ownership, and a proactive approach to solving complex fraud challenges. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment where fraud threats evolve every day. We offer: Join a rapidly growing global fintech operating across multiple international markets. Work on high-volume payment flows and real-world fraud challenges at scale. Own fraud initiatives and have the freedom to improve processes, systems, and detection strategies.
