Site Supervisor / Foreman

We are Erkkiheikkilä Oy, a civil engineering and earthworks contractor established in 1981. We currently employ about 70 people and work with numerous subcontractors. We are growing and are now looking for a professional site supervisor/foreman for varied infracivil works on projects in Päijät-Häme, Kymenlaakso and Northern Uusimaa. As a site supervisor you will be responsible for the daily leadership of diverse infrastructure construction projects, directing workers, and ensuring project schedules are followed. You will collaborate closely with the site engineer and work supervisor in your team. You can be at the start of your career in supervision or already experienced, as long as your attitude is right and you want to develop in your role. Your duties include: planning work, resourcing, materials procurement and execution with your team; monitoring and enforcing schedules and productivity; managing site finances and monitoring costs; safety, environmental issues, quality, and ensuring these are addressed; coordinating with clients and stakeholders; reporting to the work supervisor. Requirements include relevant education (construction foreman, engineering technician/inspector or equivalent) and at least three years of supervision experience in infra/construction or proven strong competence; strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work independently and within a team; problem-solving mindset in challenging situations.
