We are looking for a commercially minded Sales Engineer / Simulation Expert to support the growth of Visual Components in France. This is primarily a customer-facing technical sales role. You will work closely with Visual Components sales teams, KUKA sales teams, and customers to demonstrate how our software can solve real manufacturing and automation challenges. You will support both new customer acquisition and the development of existing accounts. A key part of the role will be helping customers adopt Visual Components successfully, identify additional use cases and expand their use of our solutions. You will be based in France and will focus mainly on the French market, while collaborating with the wider Visual Components Simulation Experts team. Your impact Support new sales opportunities Work alongside Visual Components and KUKA sales teams to qualify customer needs and shape the right technical solution. Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to the customer’s industry, processes and business challenges. Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops and solution presentations. Support trials, proofs of concept and technical evaluations. Translate technical capabilities into clear customer value and business outcomes. Help sales teams address technical questions and overcome objections throughout the sales process. Participate in customer meetings, exhibitions, trade shows and industry events. Drive customer adoption and expansion Work with existing customers to increase the adoption and value of Visual Components solutions. Understand how customers currently use the software and identify additional teams, applications and use cases. Deliver onboarding, training, workshops and best-practice guidance. Support account development plans together with the relevant sales owner. Help customers build internal capability and become successful long-term users of Visual Components. Technical support work: support our customers with productsupportrelated queries. The skills you will bring Experience in technical sales, pre-sales, solution engineering, application engineering or customer-facing industrial software roles. A strong understanding of manufacturing, industrial automation, robotics, production engineering or related disciplines. Experience with 3D simulation, CAD, digital manufacturing, robotics simulation or comparable engineering software. The ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions and business value. Strong presentation, demonstration and workshop facilitation skills. A commercial mindset and an interest in helping customers expand their use of technology. Confidence working alongside sales teams and supporting customer opportunities. Strong relationship-building and communication skills. Fluency in French and strong professional English. Willingness to travel regularly within France and occasionally elsewhere in Europe. Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience with Visual Components or another manufacturing simulation platform. Experience with factory simulation, virtual commissioning or offline robot programming. Knowledge of PLCs, industrial connectivity or robot programming. Experience working with manufacturers, system integrators or machine builders. Basic Python or other scripting experience.
