Administrative Assistant

The City of Helsinki’s Social Services, Health and Rescue Administration’s General Administration Support team (Team 9) is seeking a permanent Administrative Assistant starting 1 Oct 2026 or as agreed. The role provides administrative and customer service support to the department’s service units, including executive support, general assistant services, and assistant services related to personnel, finance and information management. The position involves diverse administrative tasks such as preparing orders, handling purchase invoices, assisting with authorization orders and employment contracts, managing service vouchers, handling training administration, managing access rights and equipment ordering/updating, and updating the City’s SharePoint site and compiling statistics and reports. Work tools include Microsoft Office and various Helsinki City IT systems (e.g., Apotti, Effector, Atos, P2P, Bosti, Valtti, Sarastia, Onni, Ahjo). The workplace is in the eastern customer guidance unit at Kivikonkaari 21, 00940 Helsinki, with some travel between sites.
