Early Childhood Education Inclusive Special Education Teacher

The position is for an inclusive special education teacher in early childhood education at Y.E.S. Daycare, operated by Vantaa City. The unit is bilingual (Finnish and English). The daycare has 8 groups, with two pre-primary groups, and serves up to 154 children. The teacher will assess and plan support needs, implement support, and evaluate its effectiveness in collaboration with other staff. The role includes developing an inclusive teaching culture in cooperation with the daycare director, guiding planning and evaluation processes, and focusing on pedagogical expertise and close cooperation with stakeholders. The team includes staff from the early childhood unit and other child and family service operators.
