Accountant

Accountant position at Oma Kirjanpito Oy, a subsidiary specialized in healthcare professionals’ accounting and advisory services, located in central Helsinki with flexible remote work options. The role is a temporary maternity leave replacement through October 2027, with start expected in autumn 2026. You will act as a trusted financial partner for clients, handling bookkeeping and monthly reporting, payroll and regulatory filings, financial statements and tax returns, and advisory on company and personal taxation. You will also assist with company formations and practical corporate restructurings. Close cooperation with clients and the team is expected. Our client base mainly consists of doctors, therapists and other healthcare entrepreneurs, making the work varied and expert-driven. Requirements include: education as a commercial economist or business economist or equivalent; at least 1 year of bookkeeping experience; at least 1 year of period closings; at least 1 year of independently preparing financial statements and tax returns; independent work style and client ownership; strong customer service and interpersonal skills; fluent Finnish (spoken and written). Desirable: Netvisor and Fennoa knowledge; payroll experience; prior healthcare or professional services bookkeeping experience.
