Education Guidance Substitute

Jyväskylä city education department seeks substitutes for guidance roles during the academic year for basic education. Substitutes work as school guidance assistants, learning and development guides, or education supervisors in various teaching and upbringing settings. Roles may include duties in after-school programs and activities for special-needs students, with some tasks in early childhood education for daycare schools. Eligibility requires the appropriate teaching and guidance qualifications (professional qualification in school guidance and after-school activities or related training). We require the candidate to have the ability to work with pupils of different ages and to have good communication and collaboration skills. If you are interested, please register in the substitute pool. Terms follow the Municipal Collective Agreement (KVTES). Working hours vary by position, 20–38.25 h/week. Salary starts at 2327.15 €/month for full-time positions. Prior to starting, a criminal background check as defined by law 504/2002 must be presented.
