About the role
Bonjour,
Pennylane is a fast-growing accounting and finance software publisher. We are looking for Trainer profiles with solid accounting experience to support partner firms in taking our tool into use. As a freelance training consultant, your main objective is to offer the best possible training module to new firms, ensuring they derive the maximum value from our tool in the shortest possible time. The coverage area is Nice. You will be available at least 3 days per week for this assignment. The first two months involve onboarding with a mentor and training manager, shadowing experienced trainers, and product training via e-learning modules and workshops. At 3–4 months you gain autonomy and take full ownership of orders. Your daily work splits into three parts: pre-training (collecting and analyzing training needs, working with the pedagogical coordinator), during training (delivering sessions to groups of 5–25, interpreting learners’ needs, adapting and teaching), and post-training (soliciting feedback, evaluating learners, handing over to the coordinator for long-term client support). After 6 months you will train increasingly strategic clients and expand the training catalog. Required competencies include experience in an accounting firm, availability to travel ~2h from home (about 10 days per month), strong relational and pedagogical skills, digital tool literacy (Slack, Notion, Google Workspace), rapid learning ability, comfort with presentations (in person and remote), and a commitment to Pennylane’s mission and community.
