Join us in shaping the future of workforce planning in manufacturing. Through the project Designing Future Workforce Planning in Manufacturing, you will help develop a forward-looking concept for shift personnel planning within our production organization and contribute to a business-critical area with real operational impact. Throughout the project, you will have the opportunity to put your academic knowledge into practice, work closely with experienced experts, and collaborate with key stakeholders from across the organization. Geberit’s ceramic factory in Ekenäs manufactures bathroom ceramics under the IDO, Ifö, Porsgrund, and Geberit brands. Geberit Finland employs approximately 250 people. MAIN TASKS Efficient personnel planning is critical to ensuring that production demands are met while maintaining flexibility, competence coverage, and employee well-being. As part of this project, you will analyse our current workforce planning practices and develop a structured concept for shift personnel planning. The project will involve investigating factors such as: - Current and future production requirements - Workforce competencies and skill coverage - Shift schedules and staffing models - Capacity and resource utilization - Flexibility and contingency planning - Best practices in workforce and shift planning Based on your findings, you will propose a practical framework and recommendations that support effective personnel planning and operational performance. PROFILE We are looking for a student pursuing a degree in areas such as: - Industrial Engineering - Operations Management - Production Management - Supply Chain Management - Business Administration - Human Resources - Or a related field You are analytical, structured, and comfortable working with data and stakeholders across the organization. You communicate confidently in both English and Finnish. Knowledge of Swedish is considered an asset. WHAT WE OFFER We offer a meaningful project with real business impact.
