Special Educator

Special educator in early childhood education is sought for Vanda to work as a resource special educator at Håkansböle Daycare, Västersundom Preschool, and Trollebo Daycare. The unit follows the vision of the Vanda Swedish Service Area: we grow, play and learn together for a sustainable future. The culture is positive, inclusive and sustainable with the child's best in focus. The role involves providing expert support in early childhood education, guiding and supervising unit staff in planning, development and evaluation of children’s support processes, and addressing group needs. Collaboration with the daycare directors, early childhood teachers and multiprofessional teams. Part-time co-teaching and occasional teaching are central. The role is part of the unit management group and supports development of an inclusive culture. The successful candidate will join a warm community, with opportunities to develop and try new ways of working, always prioritising wellbeing and participation of children and staff. The daycares are located at Galoppbrinken 5, 01200 Vanda; Hetbackavägen 3, 01200 Vanda; Vidjegränden 2, 01360 Vanda. Future plans include moving to new facilities at Hästhagsvägen 17, 01200 Vanda with four Swedish-speaking and six Finnish-speaking groups. The employer emphasises equal and inclusive workplaces.
