Janneniska Rent Oy confirms its Vantaa team and seeks a maintenance technician or mechanic for permanent employment. You won’t just service machines; you ensure that our customers’ work takes place safely and efficiently. Your work will be visible on construction sites, in maintenance, in industry, events, and infrastructure construction across Finland. Our fleet consists of modern electric- and diesel-powered personnel lifts, and we share responsibility for their reliability together. We are looking for a person who enjoys technical problem solving and seeing the result of their work in practice. Your duties include, among others: handovers of personnel lifts, inductions and returns; maintenance, repair and service of equipment; fault diagnostics and technical problem solving; inspections and ensuring operational readiness of machines; collaboration with customers, drivers and the rest of the organization. Your supervisor will be the operations manager. We don’t expect you to have all the answers from day one, but you want to find them, enjoy doing and want to develop as a professional in your field. We expect: customer-oriented and solution-focused work approach; curious and open mind and willingness to continuously learn; good interaction skills; initiative, responsibility and team spirit; B driving license (BE or C license is an advantage); good Finnish language skills and readiness to use English in your work; Microsoft 365 basics. Desirable: experience with personnel lifts, work machines or machinery rental; several years’ experience with maintenance and repair of heavy equipment; expertise in auto electrical and network technology; hydraulics and electrical engineering knowledge; qualification as a lift inspector.
