About the role
Mission: Neko is redefining prevention by making data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people. In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care deliver personalised insights. We work as a team thinking 10x. Role: An experienced Echocardiographer to join our multidisciplinary team in Birmingham. This locum role will deliver high-quality, independent echocardiographic assessments, perform and interpret transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs) including Global Longitudinal Strain (GLS), and produce accurate reports without cardiologist oversight. Based at clinics in central Birmingham with daytime, evening, and Saturday shifts. Deliverables include conducting examinations, independent interpretation and timely reporting, collaboration with the team, participation in MDT meetings, liaising with cardiologists, following escalation protocols, quality assurance, and CPD. Minimum requirements include BSE Level 2 accreditation or equivalent, >2 years post-qualification, GLS capability, excellent communication, and commitment to ongoing development. Preferred: 3D imaging and participation in health technology initiatives or research.
